Today was the day when some websites such websites such as: Wikipedia, Reddit, Mozilla, Craigslist and others went black due to SOPA and PIPA. What really gets me angry is the fact that if these bills do get passed the Internet will start to regulate and bring down domains without any consent to the domain’s owners or in another words the techinal aspect would be this: A website that is deemed as copyright theft would auotmatically get its IP Address revoked from the root DNS servers and thus disallow anyone from visiting the site.
ThePirateBay made a great reference about the movie industry,
